Sania Mirza Unhappy with Shoaib Malik's 'Meeting Other Women': Pakistani Media Responds to Divorce Situation

Shoaib Malik has officially confirmed his third marriage, this time to renowned actor Sana Javed, putting an end to speculations surrounding his relationship status with Indian tennis sensation Sania Mirza. Shoaib Malik's manager, Arsalan Shah, later corroborated the news, posting on X (formerly Twitter), "Wishing the new couple an amazing life ahead filled with happiness and joy!"

The union between the former Pakistan cricket captain and Sana Javed marks a new chapter in Malik's personal life. Pakistani media has highlighted the absence of Malik's family members at the wedding, and concerns raised by his sisters regarding the divorce from Mirza were reported by The Pakistan Daily.

Despite serious reservations expressed by Malik's sisters, there has been no public comment from them about his third marriage. Meanwhile, Sania Mirza has maintained silence on the matter, despite a cryptic post a couple of days ago that sparked speculation.

Citing sources, Geo TV earlier reported that Sania Mirza was unhappy with her husband "meeting other women" and had been ignoring the issue for a while. The report added, "Sania took this step after she lost her patience with her spouse."

DAWN labeled the announcement of Shoaib and Sana’s marriage as a "shock move," leaving "netizens shocked at the revelation." Adding to the intrigue, a family insider shared with PTI that Sania Mirza had initiated divorce proceedings, referencing the term 'khula,' which is a Muslim woman's right to unilaterally end her marriage.

The marriage of Malik and Mirza in April 2010 was a significant event, taking place in Mirza's hometown of Hyderabad. After their marriage, the couple, often referred to as the 'Power Couple,' resided in Dubai. Over the years, their relationship, frequently in the public eye, has been a subject of interest. The recent developments have once again thrust their personal lives into the forefront of media discussions.
